Good Night Osarere Debora Idiagbonya

I write this with great sadness over the unimaginable loss of a close friend and sister to cancer. Osa like we call you at ShaddaiVille Ministry, you fought a brave and strong battle for about four years but the cancer would not allow you to get better and continue your work for God as you were in almost all the departments at ShaddaiVille. You took each day in stride and your posts each day says it all, never really complaining, always feeling tired but always hoping that the treatments would finally end so you could get on with your life. This was my hope too.

This beautiful woman, inside and out, was a wonderful friend and sister to me, with a gentle and caring nature. One of her beliefs in life was the importance of being authentic with people, saying what needs to be said because it’s good for the relationship and for the soul. Unfinished business causes pain and having peace is essential for a healthy and joyful life. Also, I always admired how she never judged or forced her opinions on anyone, but offered valuable and truthful advice that will be surely miss.

Even with your fight with cancer, you were still the same Osarere I knew for years and during an interview I did for you to be published in Charity Champion magazine, you told me you were in God's laboratory and your level of faith showed me there is more for me to do in my journey with Christ.

During your illness, I know that just one thing kept you going, your faith in God, otherwise to face another day would have been tough, and I know how many days she must have had like that.
Now my hope is that she rest in peace knowing she did all that she could. When we love people it’s so comforting to know that they will always be with us in our hearts.

Osarere, you have blessed everybody around you

I’ll see you again, my friend,
